Animal Fats

 

Animal fat feedstocks can be made into high-quality biodiesel that meets the ASTM specification.

Animal fats, including beef tallow, pork lard and poultry fat are attractive feedstocks for biodiesel producers because their cost is substantially lower than the cost of vegetable oil.   Animal fats and it derivatives are used in biofuel, power generation,  pet food, animal feed and soap production , much of the domestic supply is exported.

We can offer certified used cooking oil for US domestic sale or  international placement .

 

Tallow

Beef tallow is obtained by rendering beef fat, the resultant product then being bleached, neutralised and deodorised (refined beef tallow). On the other hand, the product of fat that is simply rendered is known as "edible beef tallow". Beef tallow is obtained by means of a dry or wet rendering process. The wet rendering process is more gentle and delivers better yields. With the wet rendering process, offal from slaughterhouses undergoes coarse mechanical pulverising and is then steam-heated to a temperature of at least 90°C, breaking down and sterilising enzymes. Fat is then removed from the tissue. The water-fat mixture is then cooled and the fat (edible beef tallow) is separated. Further chemical-physical stages (bleaching, neutralisation, deodorisation) ultimately deliver a product known as 'refined beef tallow

 

Poultry Fat

Poultry Fat s the optimum energy source for boiler rations. Not only does it enhance caloric density, it is an excellent palatability enhancer for all species of livestock. Poultry Fat is also used in numerous industrial applications

Poultry Fat (feed grade) is primarily obtained from the tissue of poultry in the commercial process of rendering or extracting. This finished product is used as an energy source for animal and aquaculture feed. It is one of many ingredients that a nutritionist will use to formulate a complete feed
